Advisory council on ethics of the Royal Higher Institute for Defence
The advisory council on ethics of the Royal Higher Institute for Defence (RHID) is an independent advisory body within the RHID. Its area of competence covers ethical issues in defence-related scientific, technological or industrial research and experimental development. Within this area of competence, the council formulates opinions on defence-related research initiatives, within the framework of the RHID’s research.
The advisory council on ethics is composed of a chair and ten members, appointed by the ministerial decree of 3 December 2024.
