On 31 March, we paid a visit to the Belgian integrated police force, where we were introduced to its functioning and the numerous challenges it faces today.
The auditors were most impressed by an extended presentation on the so-called “Operation Sky-ECC” (2021), also known as the “Enigma crack” of the 21st century, which all of a sudden overwhelmed our police force with tons of evidence about all kinds of criminal facts, especially with respect to drugs trafficking in our country.
