After a seminar on the EU on 15 and 16 October, a visit on the same subject has been organised on 29 October.
The day started off with a visit to the House of European History. Afterwards, the auditors made their way to the Permanent Representation of Belgium to the EU, where we were welcomed by Ambassador Stéphane MUND, Belgian representative in the Political and Security Committee (PSC).
Several dignitaries have elaborated on the role of Europe in the field of security and defence and the part Belgium plays in this regard. A remarkable speaker was Jean-Pierre VAN ABEL, penholder of the Strategic Compass that outlines the EU security policy for the upcoming years.
